Hello! We are Benvest Pty Ltd, an Australian company based in Brisbane, Queensland. We are usually referred to as Benvest. This is our Privacy Policy. It applies to this site and also to our other sites (collectively, “Our Sites”):

An “IP Address” is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We track IP addresses solely in conjunction with Cookies to analyse our web page flow.

These third parties are required not to use your Personal Data other than to provide the services requested by Benvest.
If you send a testimonial to us, we may ask you whether we can post it on our site and attribute it to you by posting your title and name next to your testimonial.

We may include links on our website or via our services to third-party websites. When you click on those links you will leave the Benvest site and go to that third-party’s site. The third party may collect Personal Data or Anonymous Data from you. We have no control over the actions of these third parties. We do not review their own privacy statements or practices and this Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties.

We offer you choices regarding the collection, use, and sharing of your Personal Data. You may proactively make such choices by logging in to the site and visiting ‘My Account’.

When you become a registered user of “the Guide” or “the Diary” by registering on one of Our Sites, we will ask you what type of communications you wish to receive from us. You can give consent to receipt of these communications by checking the relevant boxes during the registration process.
If you opt-in to receive communications from us, we will periodically send you free newsletters and e-mails that directly promote the use of our site or our products and services. These communications may also contain advertisements for third parties.

You may access, review and change any of your contact information in your account online by visiting ‘My Account’. Please ensure that you update your contact information with any changes so that we have the most up to date information for you – we will periodically remind you to do this.

Should you decide to stop receiving further communications from us, you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the e-mail you receive, or by going to ‘My Account’. We will keep basic information about you on our suppression list to comply with your request and to avoid sending you unwanted communications in the future.

In order to comply with legal or regulatory requirements we may delete your Personal Data from our archives no later than 6 years from the time that you last used Benvest which will be determined by the last time that you accessed or opened any of Our Sites or Benvest emails, unless different retention periods/laws apply.
We may be required to provide your Personal Data for legal reasons, for example, to comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on Benvest.
Benvest may disclose Personal Data if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond; or (b) protect or defend the rights or property of Benvest or users of Benvest services.

Benvest is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Data and we have physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
On most of our sites, Benvest enables the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide secure communication over the Internet. SSL can be engaged by choosing to switch to SSL during any interaction in which you enter Personal Data.

We offer industry-standard secured-server transactions that encrypt your Personal Data when collecting your credit card information for online purchases.
