An “IP Address” is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. In some cases, your IP address stays the same from browser session to browser session; but if you use a consumer Internet access provider, your IP address may vary from session to session. We track IP addresses solely in conjunction with Cookies to analyse our web page flow.

We use cookies and we ask you to expressly consent to our use of cookies. Unless you adjust your browser settings to refuse them then we will issue cookies whenever you engage with Benvest.

“Cookies” are small pieces of information that a Web site sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing a Web site. Benvest uses both session cookies (which expire once you close your Web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our site. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can disable this function by changing the cookie profile on your computer’s web browser. If you disable your cookies, however, you will not have access to member-only sections of this site, which require login. Benvest does not store any Personal Data in cookies on your computer.

When you become a registered user of “the Guide” or “the Diary” by registering on one of Our Sites, we will ask you what type of communications you wish to receive from us. You can give consent to receipt of these communications by checking the relevant boxes during the registration process.
If you opt-in to receive communications from us, we will periodically send you free newsletters and e-mails that directly promote the use of our site or our products and services. These communications may also contain advertisements for third parties.

Accessing, Reviewing, and Changing Your Personal Data

You may access, review and change any of your contact information in your account online by visiting ‘My Account’. Please ensure that you update your contact information with any changes so that we have the most up to date information for you – we will periodically remind you to do this.

Security of Your Personal Data

Benvest is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Data and we have physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

We use a variety of industry-standard security technologies and procedures to help protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
On most of our sites, Benvest enables the use of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide secure communication over the Internet. SSL can be engaged by choosing to switch to SSL during any interaction in which you enter Personal Data.

We offer industry-standard secured-server transactions that encrypt your Personal Data when collecting your credit card information for online purchases. To verify that you have a secure server connection, look for the locked padlock symbol at the bottom of your browser window or in the URL bar, or check that the URL is prefixed by ‘https’.
We store Personal Data behind a computer firewall, a barrier designed to prevent outsiders from accessing our servers. We also require you to enter a password to access your account information.

Benvest protects your Personal Data from unauthorized physical access by storing your Personal Data in a controlled facility.
Benvest limits access to Personal Data in electronic databases to those persons (including employees and contractors) in Benvest’s organization who have a business need for such access.

Please Remember:
Even though Benvest has taken significant steps to ensure that your Personal Data is not intercepted, accessed, used, or disclosed by unauthorized persons, you should know that it is impossible for Benvest to eliminate all security risks associated with Personal Data.
You provide Personal Data at your own risk
You are responsible for the security of your username and password
You should contact us immediately if you think your privacy has been breached
